A structured understanding of BIG-IP TMOS administration, aligned to the official F5CAB certification blueprint: video training, configuration walkthroughs, networking concept breakdowns, and troubleshooting demonstrations covering VLANs, Self IPs, routing, load balancing fundamentals, Virtual Servers, profiles, persistence, and system management.
You will develop the foundational knowledge required to configure BIG-IP correctly, understand traffic flow through the system, interpret logs and diagnostic output, and build the technical confidence required before progressing to specialist modules such as 301a, 301b, 302, 303, or 304.
Aligns directly with the official F5 Certified Administrator, BIG-IP blueprint, covering all five exams, F5CAB1 to F5CAB5.

What you will be able to do.
Many engineers use BIG-IP daily without fully understanding how traffic flows through TMOS. This course builds that foundation. After this course you will be able to:
- Configure BIG-IP networking: VLANs, trunks, Self IPs and routing fundamentals
- Build basic LTM configurations: nodes, pools, health monitors and virtual servers
- Understand traffic flow through TMOS, from client request to server response
- Apply profiles appropriately: TCP, HTTP and SSL fundamentals
- Configure persistence and load balancing methods to keep applications available and consistent
- Administer BIG-IP securely: users, roles, licensing, backups and configuration management
- Perform basic troubleshooting: interpret logs, use TMSH, capture traffic with tcpdump
You will leave this course able to operate BIG-IP with confidence at a foundational level, which is the stability you need before any specialist certification.

Prerequisites
